Forest River Riverstone 37flth or Grand Design Solitude 374th/376th
I’ve been looking at these 5th wheels on line and on YouTube. Because I’m in Hawaii I’m unable to actually see these up close and compare their builds. Can anyone give me some insight on these two? Which one do you think is better built and has better options? What size dually would tow these things with no problems with a Street Glide in the box? Thank you.

The Riverstone has better running gear right off the line than does the GD. Riverstone has heavier axles, better/bigger tires, disc brakes, thicker sidewalls. IMO, Riverstone, hands down no comparison to GD.
I might be a little partial but I agree and think the River Stone would be the better build. The Grand Design is nice and have heard they offer good support but we have also received great factory support when need at River Stone. If you could possibly arrange a visit both factories are not that very far from each other to compare first hand for your self. Do you plan to get back to the mainland early enough before you want to buy? Not sure what truck to recommend as I have seen folks towing with just about them all, might come down to a personal preference.

Thanks for your opinion. I plan on taking as many trips and time it takes to get my first and hopefully last. After I retire I figure I would go to a tax friendly state to buy the truck and 5th wheel. Another question I have is that I’m planning on spending 3 to 6 months at a time with the cold seasons in Hawaii. Any suggestions on where to store that has full service for the truck, Harley, and camper.
