Front Stabilizers

Im getting a new Arctic Fix 32-5m with 6pt leveling LCI control one. Do you find it necessary to install the front stabilizers ie. JT strong arms or steadyfast with this system. My brain says yes to install it on the new rig also. It sure made a difference on my last rig but it was old conventional front landing legs / rear stab jacks.

They make a difference even on heavy trailers.

I find with my system there is no need to spend the extra money for supports of this type. All though I have found it is best to keep the legs as short as possible for better stabilization. I place 1- 2X8 12" long and 2-4X4 12" long for a total of 5" in height under each front stabilizer. Under the rear legs I place from three to five Lego style plastic pads to keep the legs short. This seems to keep the trailer extremely stable. I no longer travel with the X-chocks that I use to travel with in my other 5er.

On my 32-5M I ordered it with the 6 point and also the electric stabilizers in the rear. So I have 8 points of contact. I also use the x chocks because I can. Very stable. I see no need for anything else. I also try to keep the extensions on the rams as short as possible.
