Flat , any mud will stick easy and be hard to wash off
Satin , looks like OEM and is a little easier to clean
Gloss , is easy to clean less likely to get mud stains that stick .

I need to repaint out frame in spots , I was going to do gloss for all the reasons above. My plan was to paint the entire side in the spring and the other side maybe if time isnt a issue. Prep the area , remove all loose paint and dirt with a wire brush and brush it on. if you can use a primer coat first and then cover it with black asap (not weeks later).

I start with gloss. It ends up being flat in a few years anyhow.

Big job. I think I would give it a good pressure washing to clean it as best as possible then spray on a couple coats of automotive undercoater really blasting into the corners.

My rig will be 7 years old come February. I coated all the exposed frame and axles with Fluid Film upon delivery. I live in coastal FL and it still looks new.
