Goodyear endurance tires

I am buying a Jayco Pinnacle fifth wheel. It comes with endurance tires and since they are new this year I was wondering if anybody has any opinion or knowledge with them. I am presently running Goodyear G614 on my montana and dealer will change the tires over for me if I choose. The endurance is E rated 10 ply with 360 pound rating and the G614 is G rated at 110 psi and 14 ply rated. Both are American made and the Endurance is rate for up to 87 mph and the G614 is rated up to 75 mph.

Please provide experience or advice

"360 pound rating"?? Besides that, I've seen several positive things about the new Endurance. Goodyear came out with them to counter all the negatives that happened with the Chinabomb Marathon ones. They are only E rated and not G though. If the Pinnacle you're getting is over 16k gross, I'd be concerned with E. I run LT E rated tires on our Montana, and they've been great. If it were me, I'd check the DOT born on date stamps and see how much life there is for either- you really need to replace anything over six years old, no matter what the tread is like, and those E rated ones may last you a lot longer than your G G614s.

If I had 6,000 lb. axles 'E' rated tires would be ok....but I'm 7,000 lb. axles I would want 'G' rated tires.

The plies are important as long as they do not separate. Old tires, the plies will separate which will damage the trailer.

The only 10 ply tires i would use are the michelin xps ribs. These are all steel as the goodyear 614's and the sailuns. If you have the 7,000 pound axles then i would go with 14 ply goodyears or sailuns. The sailuns are 14 ply and have excellent reviews on the forums and i have about 15,000 miles on my 16,200 pound trailer with no problems and they are considerably cheaper than goodyears.Check the reviews and i believe you will be impressed. I bought mine at simple tire on the internet.
