True but, it's not the commercial fifth wheel but the suspension of the big truck that will be the down fall of the trailer frame.... (a lot of) These fifth wheel trailers really are built on the cheap ...
If you ever get a chance to see a road tractor converted to pull a fifth wheel take a look at the hitch, they use an RV air hitch designed for fifth wheels.

Yes, I'm quite aware that the RV toters are singled out and use air hitches, but my point was the geometry and kingpin dimensions are the same.
