Grey water tank

Does anyone know if the grey water tank vent pipe has a screen on it.. I have a 95 holiday rambler 5th wheel an was doing the dishes an the sink stopped draining all of a sudden. I got out the plunger an the water went down slowly but stopped so I plunged again an same thing happened. But now water isn't draining an grey tank is full an can't shut off water Oregon it will freeze up. Water is leaking in different spots under the trailer an we can't have that where we live .
Rv life in the winter is hard..

No way a screen will be in the drain line from the kitchen sink - too many food solids get washed down the drain when washing dishes.

You need to check the P trap under the sink. Get a bucket, place under trap, remove trap, dump contents out in trash can (Not in Sink!). Reassemble trap.

Check for flow.

You say gray tank is full - you need to dump it.

Why can’t you shut off water?

The VENT pipe is not causing the issue. Dump your tanks, the sink will drain.

You are talking about the grey tank, one question, as a prevention here: When have you dumped your black tank?
Just a piece of advice, do not leave your black tank open, it will result in problems. Keep the black tank valve closed and dump when full, or near full. Then dump your grey behind it to help clean the drain lines.

if your grey tank is full the sink wont drain, it has nowhere to go. try emptying the grey tank and ill bet that fixes the issue.

I have a Gray Tank and a Galley Tank. Plumbed under the Vanity Sink and the Kitchen Sink are these vents:

As simple as they are, they can fail, and not let air into your drain pipes thus slowing down the draining of the sinks. Just another possibility.

Make sure you are opening the correct dump valve - I had one for my kitchen drain that was in a different location than the rest - was running over before I found the valve for it.
Also my tank dump valves were not labeled correctly - Always use a clear fitting on your waste hose to verify everything is running out properly.
