Haloview RV rear camera error

I have a grand design 5th wheel that came "Furrion Ready".

I installed the Haloview RD7-MINI 7'' 720P Wireless Range Dominator System with rearview and side cameras in 2021. It has been working fine until a few weeks ago. I noticed a crimped wire going to the camera. I ordered a new camera (CA614).

I verified that there is 10v coming from the wire in the Furrion housing.

I see an “ERR” code on the screen, the two side cameras are working fine. I am not able to get the new camera paired. Even with the rear camera not connected I still see the “ERR” code on the monitor.

Questions.
1. How do I get it paired, I have tried pressing the button on the camera within the 20 seconds and tried pressing the button on the "TX box” within the 20 seconds.

2. Should the lights on the "TX box" be lit? I do not see a light on that box.

3. How do I get rid of the “ERR” code on the monitor?

4. How would I verify that power is getting to the "TX box” (which of the pins should have power?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Our recently purchased KZ Durango also came “Furrion ready.” Our challenge was with our 2023 GMC. We found out that the 7 pin connector on the newer trucks does not provide enough power to the camera. We had to purchase an adapter to provide the power and it immediately worked.

I just meet a couple in Pearland, Tx. that has the same issue. They had to buy an adapter to provide power.

I don't think this is my issue, I was working for almost 2 years. I did test the power coming to the camera, it was a little over 10V. The camera specs say 10 to 32 volts.

I am starting to think that the problem is the extension box (they call "TX-box"). I don't see a light on it where (I think) there should be when its powered up. Its just weird how the camera and the TX-Box went out at the same time.

I don't know what goes on in the extension box, but a short might have taken both of them out.

I hear all of the issue with rear view cameras and late model GM trucks, and I was prepared to see an issue, but my camera worked fine with my TT. I occasionally had the picture freeze or lose contact, but I could often predict where that would occur. There was one section of a freeway on-ramp that it never failed that the camera would freeze and go blank.

I just thought of something else - our camera will not power up unless the truck lights are in the “on” position, not the “auto” position.

I wanted to update this post. (I thought that I already did, sorry). It turned out to be both the camera and the "tx-box" were bad. I ordered both and then installed them. Everything has been working for a month now. Thanks for all your input.
