You know there are little things you do that make you a happy camper. I finally got around to changing out that darn thermostat to a digital Honeywell programable one. I was apprehensive about doing it, but after watching who knows how many videos on youtube and here, I felt comfortable enough to do it. So got up early this morning, turned off the a/c breaker and removed the old thermostat and installed the new one. Now it is running and it seems to be working correctly, Comes on at a few degrees above the set and goes off at it or a degree below...Maybe no more running for an hour at a time....Love the programable feature and the compressor protection. Highly recommend this upgrade to all that haven't did it. Total time, maybe 20 minutes...
