Hauling a 125cc Scooter on back of 5th Wheel

I am wanting to do away with my Scooter Trailer.Been thinking of getting a Rack to put on the custom Hitch I had installed, with 3500 Lb limit.

Pulled my boat with it that has around 300 lb tongue weight but this was short distance.I am just tired of hauling this trailer around and do not want to get rid of my scooter.

We fulltime workamp so we move every 3-6 months, seen a guy in Albqu. hauling a Harley on the back of his 5th,on our way to AZ. but did not get the time to talk with him.

The scooter only weighs 220 lbs. I just wonder how it would ride back there?

It would work well. Just get a ramp and go for it. My scooter carrier is good for 400#'s and weighs only 40#'s. With that set up, you would have lots of room capacity wise.

I have a PCX125 280 lbs. OE receiver had a 300 lb tongue wt limit.
We added a 2nd receiver to prevent stress from the scooter rocking.
Rock solid now with no issues.

No Problem hauling

We have a Honda weighs in the 200 lb range and have hauled it on a MC hitch in the class lll receiver many times. On back of 2 5rs, truck, back of the Exlorer. Front wheel locks into a chuck and then I use these ratcheting ropes and do a 4 point tie down to make it nice and snug.
Rides like a pro!
