Heartland Augusta info

We have had experiences with our Heartland Augusta 38 foot fiver that other RVers need to know. We have owned a pickup camper, 3 fifth wheels, 2 Class A's and a Class C. Even though new in September (2010) the Heartland has had more issues than ALL of the others. The first trip it leaked a lot of rain, carpet was wet the entire length of kitchen/living. The guest bed deflated; it took months to get a replacement and they said "no more" even though that deflated also. Leak was fixed under warranty. The next trip the refrigerator warmed to over 50 degrees, we got spoiled food. Stay tuned. The dealer in South Fork CO refused to look at it even under warranty. I was amazed to see there is a forum of happy? owners. It is a fairly high dollar trailer; I'd like to save other buyers the trouble we've had.
