Bet it is just the A/C Fan coming on (not compressor)
Check FAN setting on thermostat
Should be in AUTO vs HI or LO
If not in AUTO fan will run with furnace operation

grand design 29rs ac and furnace problems
Thanks to all who answered post. Since I am new to the grand design 29rs I have a lot to learn. The problem with the air conditioner fan and furnace was the fan setting. Put it on auto and the world is great.

If ever you have a question, you can call Grand Design customer support directly. They're great at answering questions, or sending parts if something needs to be replaced and you don't want to go to the dealer. Thus far I've been sent a fireplace, door handle, three light fixtures, two snaps, and a handful of self tapping screws. I actually called them half an hour ago to find my exact tank sizes since we're going to a campground without water hookups this weekend.
Copied this from the GD Owners forum. It helps if you have your VIN at times. That way they can look up the exact parts on your RV.

Grand design also has a forum:
Grand Design Owner's Forum
It's fairly active and monitored by GD support.
Likely a GD will be my next RV if their support continues.

It's been great for us. We're about to take it in tot he dealer for the first time. Our second black tank flush has a leak. That's the first thing I'm not ready to work on myself lol. Took less than a week to get in though.

Good choice on Grand Design. I've had my GD Solitude for three years now, and couldn't be happier..
