Help! Bathtub is cracked near drain...fix???

We have a standup shower/tub that looks to be 2 separate pieces. The surround for the walls and the bottom or "tub" is one piece by itself. Near the drain is a few cracks. I don't know what a new tub would cost or if it's a DIY job, but mayb an epoxy would work?

Any suggestions or about how much $ something like this would be to fix or have the dealer do it.

thanks!

Most repairs will be unsightly and just a temporary fix. If appearance is not a problem, Bondo makes a repair kit.

3M Indoor Living - Bondo #20186 Tub/Shower Repair Kit

Replacement depends on how the current one was installed. If it is easy to get the surround off, it's not that difficult to remove the pan/tub and replace. If they were screwed, glued and tattooed on, it may be a major project. The key is a direct replacement to negate the need for refinishing the area. You may not be able to get the surround off without cracking it so you may need to replace both. Below is a source.

If your tub is fiberglass there are people who can make a repair you will not be able to find when they are done. My guess is about $175.00.
