Mor-Ryde sure makes good money from us RV'ers providing solutions to problems that should of been addressed and solved by the RV manufacturers.

THIS is the solution. Reverse the adapter to effectively shorten the pin box. Problem solved. Obviously the dealer does not know the AUH. I have the MorRyde and the Andersen and that is the way to do it. My Andersen is on the lowest setting and the pin box is below my rails and there are no clearance problems inside the bed.

Was trying to share photos, but will need to find something other than PhotoBucket to use.

In the post above are pictures of my set up with the adapter socket behind the pin which shortens my pin box. And my AUH is at the lowest setting which puts my pin box down inside the bed. I have no clearance issues with the rails, sides of the bed or the cab.

I run my king pin adaptor the same way with the ball on the middle setting. I have approx. 5 1/2" 5er overhang-to-tail gate clearance. Pin box stays inside the bed.

It's a little nose high so we took it to MORryde Monday intending to have 2" lift installed. They measured height at highest spot and we're already 13' 4" so decided to live with being slightly nose high.

Happy trails,

Happy trails,
I started to ask "why not lower the ball to the lowest position, then saw you have only 5.5" above the tailgate. Mine rides about 1/2" to 3/4" nose high and I can live with that.
