Just pick out several floorplans you like & join that forum . Get real information from actual people that own them . Of course you need to filter through the whiners & people that likes to bitch about everything but lots of useful information out there. No matter the brand 99% of the RV industry use furniture, appliances, ect. From same vendors.

Have you looked at the little known KZ Gold line, built for full time living, aluminum framed.

Might look at the S-class Solitudes by Grand Design. You give up a few things but good value, not much higher than Reflections. Just bought a 2021 3550BH. MSRP was 82k and paid 61k. It was built and delivered before all the price increases though...

Per GD's build site and without adding anything the MSRP is $95,545.
Tough time to wanna buy.

Wow! Didn't realize the price increase was that high. 14k across one model year. I guess we caught it at just the right time. We were able to leverage the higher prices when we sold our travel trailer mitigating the depreciation loss.

Over on the GD owner forum there's been a few threads or posts about the last couple price increases.
FWIW GD Reflection 303RLS is now pushing $70K. Add the free standing dinette and 2nd AC and it's a touch over $70K MSRP. Insane IMO.

Winnebago bought out GD in 2016. Was seriously considering upgrading our 31ft 8k loaded TT to a 303 or 337 5th wheel . But after joining their forum & seeing all the safety related issues decided to go with the 2021 Montana High Country 295RL. Our 2014 31 ft Cougar travel trailer was a problem free camper for the 7 yrs we owned it . With that being said my sister in law tows a 2015 Reflection 337rls with zero issues. Seems to me that the big corporate bean counters @ Winnebago are cutting cost @ customers expence.

We have narrowed our current list to the Alliance Paradigm, GD Solitude and Columbus River Ranch, which are all $109k MSRP and $80-$85k after not much discussion.

My question is are there any manufacturers and makes/models of good quality in the $55-$70k range we should consider? We’re willing to give up some length and some other niceties, but don’t want to drastically compromise quality; auto-levelers and 3 A/Cs are high on the want list. Yes, we know it’s all about floor plan and yep, all RVs have their issues and need work, this will be our 20th year of RV’ing so we’re pretty used to frivolous RV spend!! 😁

Thanks for your thoughts and Happy Independence Day!

compared the GD Solitude to the Alliance . Fortunately the dealer here sells both so we were able to go back and forth. Wife wanted the RK and we preferred the Alliance to the Solitude. No steps up to the kitchen nicer layout in the kitchen with more work space available. $15,000 less than the Solitude CDN $ . This dealer has 6 stores and has sold quite a few Alliance Paradign's which I have been following . This is good considering they haven't been available prior to a couple of years ago. I talked to a couple of other new owners and got great feedback. Good luck with your decsion.

We looked at them all. Pinnacle, Northpoint, Montana, Solituide, etc. We landed on KZ Durango Gold 356 RLT. Had everything we were looking for. For us, it was like KZ took everything we liked from what we looked at, and built the Durango Gold. Quality is on par, and fits your price. We love ours.

We have been real happy with our Cedar Creek. It listed for $109,000.00 and we got it for $62,000.00. Of course, we could bargain a lot more back then. Except for an improper install on the rear AC unit and a recent bad igniter board on the water heater, we have had no troubles.

Your post sounds exactly like my DG find. We had a list of must haves as this was the 3rd 5W and we had been looking at used in two states when we were showed the new KZand it filled all the must haves so we ended up buying new. Any and all issues we have had are with the thing KZ put in appliance wise, the same appliances used in every one of the 5W's listed. Not many suppliers for the things used inside. Love our KZ and would not think twice about another but this one fits so a new is not likely to happen.BTW we are about 3/4 time so it got more miles in one year than most, over 40K and counting.
