Hisense TV

I'm curious how Hisense TV's are holding up for those who have installed them in NON-stationary RVs. My rig came with a Jensen 1080 TV which has been problem free and has a great picture. However, its a 39 inch and we'd like to upgrade to a 50.
From what I understand Jensen is designed for mobile use and supposedly durable in the sense of temperature changes and shock. The Hisense brand is extremely competitive in pricing and has overall good reviews. I have a buddy who has a number of TCL TVs and swears by them but I have my eye on a particular Hisense model. Thanks.

Two years and 8,000+ miles ( 50% on I-5 ) no problems with my 40" Hisense Smart . Mounted to the above driver cabinet .
Great sound compared to my 32" Toshiba; that rode on the same mount for 6 years.

In my humble opinion, nothing Jensen has ever made was particularly long-lasting. Guess I always got the duds.

I was skeptical of Jensen when I took delivery of the rig. The upgrade was a 50" Samsung and I knew not to pay the premium the manufacturer was charging. The Jensen has a super sharp picture. I don't want to pay a premium price for a TV for an RV that is subjected to so much. I'm seriously considering picking-up a Hisense 50" 50H6570G this week. Best Buy has it for $260. Thanks for the feedback about the Hisense. I appreciate it!

We have a 40" Hisense in our outside TV compartment and it's been fine even with all the rough roads in New Mexico and west Texas. Great picture too ! We have a 55" Hisense ultra 4k in our S&B we are going to put in our rig before the next time we go out with it. We really like the Hisense brand , great picture quality and most of them still have a built in tuner so we can get OTA channels .

Hinsense, made in China, generally good value for the money.

Many Hisense TV's are made in Mexico in the former Sharp factory that Hisense purchased. I looked at and purchased the 50" U6570G today and it is made in Mexico. Thanks for the responses. Makes be feel better even though its only a $260 TV.

After a few months I wanted to update: This TV is awesome. I'm very impressed with it's picture and menu. I use 3g hot spot on my phone to stream Amazon Prime, etc. Highly recommend it.

I often thought that a tv that came from the other side of the globe on ocean freighters and trucks and works when you plugged it in will work fine in an RV for years, it's already gone thru a survival test. Cost is mostly determined by the bells and whistles a TV has. Most tv's have sound that sucks, why so many folks install sound bars or sound systems. Picture quality in today's tv's , depends how you adjust the picture to meet your fancy. MHO

Our Road Warrior came with a different brand -- Summit TVs. We have 4 and they do work great. Our 55" is in the living room and it is 3 + years old and going strong
