Holy Moly!!!

Drove about 3 hours from the house to a camping spot we like. As we were filling up the water tank I noticed the tandems were very close to each other. Walked around to the other side & sure enough there was too much space there. Come to find out the bolt/pin that goes down the middle of the leaf springs sheared off & the whole axle shifted about 1.5" out of place. That could have gotten bad really quick! Looks like I will be doing work to the camper one of the only weekends we don't have booked.

Yup, I had that happen in AK, only I failed to notice the axle spacing. Spent 3 nights boondocking 60 miles from the nearest town until on-site repairs were completed.
Repair bill was near $2k.

Yikes! I thankfully could get mine to where I work & then I was able to get the axle lined back up again. Got that pin ordered (locally everyone is out of them) & should be able to get it all back to normal this weekend. It has been one of them years for me. Seems like every week something is wrong with one or more of my toys.

2 grand to install a new spring which would take all of an hour?
