Used F350 & Mid priced KZ Durango Gold just over your budget. No full body paint & no gen set, but everything else the Continental Coach @$150K used has. Is the wood work as nice? No but everything in it is functional and pretty wood does not make more functional. We 3/4 time, only 9 months last year, never used the gen set I carry, not sure why I do. Just in case?

We carry Champion generators, and we use them all the time. But we stay at alot of friends, Harvest Hosts, and boondock as much as possible cause most campgrounds are glorified parking lots. So, it doesn't have to be built in, but having them is nice.

That's what's on the rear rack, single 3500, just doesn't get much use other than running it semi regular with a load to insure it keeps working.

Same here on the gen issue. We carry a Honda 3000eu converted to LP and have only run it for less than 10 hours total in 7 years. I consider that a good thing since it is only for emergency just like in our S&B house.

Spent $70K on 17 F250 6.7 and $45 on 18 Cougar 344MKS. No regrets.

Own a 98 Teton 32 which I have restored and upgraded the running gear. Just returned from a 7k mile trip and all remains perfect.

Invest

If I had an extra $100K I would invest it and still live within my current income. Doesn't make sense to me to drive around that kind of cash. I'm sure others will not agree but someday I will be older and sicker than I am now and need to hire some help. Being old is tough, being old and broke is hell.

$100,000.00 to spend

Bought a new 2017 Jayco pinnacle. Its a 42 foot fw, 37rsts.
Over the last 9 months have spent 6 months on the road traveling.
Have put on 14,000 miles. Has been a great adventure with virtually no problems. Sure, some minor cosmetic issues have popped up, but that's it. Never been back to the dealer. Never been a repair facility.
Just enjoying life, retirement, and seeing our beautiful country. From the left coast all the way to the keys, then onto the bourbon trail.

and by the way, not anywhere near the $100 mark. We did really like the landmark models when shopping around.

Life is good in a Jayco.

A definite yes to checking out New Horizons RV. We bought ours 12 years ago & have been fulltiming since then. Been to every state at least once & Alaska twice. We still love it. We were looking for a quality unit that would last us for 15-20 years. We made the right decision.

i'm impressed you can haul it with an F350. Seems like all the New Horizons I have looked at would challenge an F450. Seriously looking at them, just fewer for sale. There seem to be a lot of Mobile Suites around and they look pretty good. What is the build quality like in them? Pre Thor of course,LOL.

I'd also cast a vote for a used New Horizon 5th. Another brand now out of business is Excel. They are also heavy but well made. Custom frame and wood framing. Our Excel is a 2007 and is doing very well. Only minor issues not with the quality of the build. You might also look at Spacecraft. All of them are custom built so there's nor real standard model.

To a large extent quality and weight are related.

Dodge dually (used) for about 35k

With the 65k left I would get a used Keystone Alpine...
