WOW, that little sucker can move some air

took me about two hours, drilling and routing the intake hose around my basement junk
I must say its got some suction

and a purty good deal from rv upgrades.
maybe i can snap a picture this evening.
i did notice the hose wil stretch to 30 feet, but if you restrict teh air intake on the hose, it tries to collapse back to its 7 foot storage size

edit
I changed my supplier it was rv upgrades. I have em saved in favorites in a folder called RV Parts
I am not to bright at times

For those considering adding this mod, RVupgrades.com (a sponsor of this site) offers the central vacuum kits as well, I believe.

Did you have to cut out a hole for it or was the rv prepped for the vac already? I would love to have one!

just a hole, our basement is already wired with a n outlet for the deep freeze, so i plugged in there.
the installation kit has about four feet of hose to use so you can set teh machine in a easy to get at location and then run the suction hose up to the wall fitting.
i attatched mine to the flase wall that isolates teh back of the converter and ran my hose up through and behind it, only thing you see is the unit, I will take some pics tonight and post em here .
hardest part was deciding where to put it and doing the install so it didnt look choppe dup or half a$$. like the manufacter does when they put one in.
it really has a ton of suction, i wm aamazed at the power, we have a rotty and she has som e hair that likes to stick to carpet, it pulls most of it right up, i am ordering a floor power brush to use on the carpets, th elittle rug rat it comes with is to small for larger areas, like painting a wall with a 1/4 inch brush. gets the job done , just take a while
