Well while I might take a tire off with that setup, I would never work on the bearings, the right jack/jack stand is ok, but the rear is just a jack.

I took my 5er to DT and they did a fine and correct job of jacking the 5er!

Then is working at home on bearings, or in this case putting on our Correct Track system, I use wood cribbing, very solid. My driveway at the time slopped slightly side to side of the trailer, so I shimmed the first level of cribbing level.

Shortly after getting our new/used 5th I found the Never-lube-bearing to be totally shot. Long story, in the end I upgraded from Lippert 6k axles with drum brakes to Dexter 7k axles with new springs, shocks, equalizers and disk brakes. I did the work myself in our driveway with a friend assisting with getting the axles mounted. No problems.

I realize some people do not have the space, tools or experience to take on this job, but it's not all that bad if you done similar maintenance before.
