I've learned not to count on my dealership for anything. That way I'm never disappointed.
But seriously, I custom order my vehicles too. Ordered my pickup. Ordered my RV. Both listed in my sig/registry
. Tracked them both throughout their respective builds.
With my pickup it was fairly automated to get status details once I had my order # from the dealership. Could track my event codes through GM customer service anytime I wanted.
Somewhat more tedious for my RV build but still discovered the national sales manager to be the belly button (who turned out to be very helpful with status updates in my experience). Not sure how it works with Jayco, but a quick Google search located this site
Personally, I have no issue reaching out to corporate for info/updates when I'm spending $$$. Assuming you haven't already found an answer as to why your RV is sitting and waiting on parts, if I were in your shoes, I'd shoot the GM of Jayco towable brands a quick friendly email and introduce myself. Hopefully you have the same positive results I had with my mfg. Safe travels.
