One thing they did miss was a compartment to store the sewer hose
My Mobile suite is all solid cherry interior as well...I was wondering if the previous poster had a DRV Tradition Model because they do have pressed or as he said fake wood...

I can asure you a 2014 mobile suite does not have pressed wood in it...They also have 15"frames 3.3" walls filled with wool insulation all the wall roof and floor framing are aluminum...They have 8000 pound axles and 17.5H rated tires are standard...

I was not insinuating yours didn't. I asked because mine did. My 06 had lots of quality issues. Complete walls with no insulation. I had surely hoped they had improved. DRV assured me they did insulate it and it had fallen into bottom area. That couldn't have been true because one area was above a window. Put a cable for antenna there. Pulled slide out window to reseal, black sticky sealant oozing out. No insulation. I installed insulation and much difference afterwards. We always had to stuff insulation under kitchen slide due to drafts and openings.

I was the owner of a 2010 DRV Mobile Suite and a 2012 Elite Suite. You may have read about my DRV experience on my blog, RVing Full-Time with PUPPY PATHS www.puppypaths.blogspot.com and the post was Oct. 22, 2012, "The Start of Our DRV Elite Suite RVing Journey!!"

Before my wife and I bought our 2010 we spent a week in Elkhart and went to the factory of six manufacturers and saw them being built. Despite some issues with our 2010 we bought another DRV and had several very serious issues that should have required recalls. DRV was aware of the problems and never did the recalls to warn their consumers. Went to all local, state and federal agencies in Indiana and got no where. No attorney near Howe, Indiana would consider taking the case - siting "home cooking". In 13 months we were in repair over 4 months and still had slide issues. Had major wiring issues and brake issues that could had led to "fire". DRV brought in their own expert and it advised "fire" concern as to the wiring issues. They had been put on notice and yet while at the factory they wired another just like they had mine because they had the wire on hand and wanted to use it.

Traded for a Tiffin Allegro Bus and have a numerous issues but Bob Tiffin, to date, has stood behind his product. Had to make four trips to Red Bay in 2+ years.
