Keystone Arcadia

I saw a YouTube preview of the Keystone Arcadia earlier this week. Wondering if anyone has had a chance to see one for real.

I looked at the Keystone web site about it and it doesn't look different from a hundred other offerings out there. All the fluffy "puffery" doesn't make it really different. Looks like just another nameplate.

Gambling

Buying a travel trailer is gambling. You never know what you are going to get. Buying a cheap TT is betting against the odds.

Dutchmen, Keystone, Voltage, and Kodiak (related design, build and sales) have been a significant problem at least since about 2007. I recommend you avoid buying a new one unless you enjoy rebuilding them.

Used ones that have been rebuilt can have better odds. Check out www.Dutchmenowners.org to see all crying and angry shouting from newbie owners.

I wish you good luck and happy trails ahead!

We have a a Dutchman Denali already. 289RK. Bought it new in early Ď16. Have had our fair share of issues. Couple of leaks (wardrobe slide and kitchen skylight) plus cheap tires blown out.

I replaced the axles and brakes with discs plus several other upgrades. Just looking for info on the new Arcadia. Itís a 3/4T towable and looks pretty good to me.

It looks to be about as '3/4 ton' towable with an F250 as my '1/2 ton' towable is for an F150. I would definitely take that marketing nomenclature with several grains of salt. The GVWR on the Arcadia is 13.5K. At 20% the pin weight would be 2700 pounds which is likely over the payload capacity of most 3/4 diesels before anyone even gets in the truck. Even a higher payload gasser would be taxed, payload-wise, once the truck is loaded up with gear and passengers.

There was one at the Tampa Show this year. Our friends, Jim & Lisa Cox at #finduscamping, did a walk-thru video on it on their site. Lisa does a good job talking about the RV and demonstrates different items on their site.
Give them a peek

Saw a couple different videos of the Arcadia. Looking at the ďtentativeĒ specs I think it is the replacement for the Laredo in Keystones lineup. I was told
that the Laredo line has been discontinued.
