We are looking at this as our 1st 5ER. Any opinions good or bad about these? Also see that RV companies have pretty much stopped making rear kitchen models, should that be a concern?

Floorplans come and go, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. If this is what makes you happy, go for it.

I'm not sure about other manufacturers, but in the case of Excel, they simply offer or discontinue floor plans based on interest and sales. As they are a small manufacture, changing out production line capabilities becomes a bigger issue. This might not be the same issue with a mass producer like Keystone, but I suspect it is a big factor.

We LOVE our rear kitchen.

I don't think that's true at all. I run across floor plans with RKs all the time, in both TT and 5ers.
