KZ owner

Hello, we are on our second KZ fifth wheel. We started out with a 366FBT, but down sized to a 326 RLT in the regular Durango line.
We are on the KZ Family Forum, lots of great people there.
Everyone is quick to help answer questions, and we were fortunate to meet a good number at the 2021 owners rally. A great group of people.
I hope you make great memories in your Gold!
See you on the road

We have one. Bought the Tampa Show model in 2019. We really like it. I will say, that the kitchen is short on drawers and counter space. However, the position of the door to the mid bunk room allows us to use the room as sort of an extention/coffie room/breakfast nook.

Its really well built, and has given us very few issues.

There are a couple things they could have done better, but not too many FW's I would take over this one at this time.

It's rated for, and called a full time unit, but I personally would not use this model for full timing, unless the rear deck was an absolute must. There is just not enough kitchen space.

382MBQ

AC,

Good morning and thanks for the input!! Do you know what year KZ began making the 382 with the back deck. DW loves the concept.

Not offhand unfortunately. A quick internet search did not reveal any useful results either. Maybe check NADA keep going back model years until that model is no longer in the list?

A/C,

Thanks for looking for me!!

Is the back deck hard to operate? Is it stable once set?

We have a '17 D1500 277RLT. I'm 98% happy with it. Most stuff I have issues with are nit-picky, but there are some things they just didn't think about or cheaped out on. Stuff like no counter-level light switches in the bathroom so kids can reach them.

There are a couple of dedicated KZ and KZ Durango groups on the internet. Facebook has a group called "KZ Durango Fifth Wheel Owners Group" and there is a forum called KZFamilyForumdotcom.
The Facebook group has a lot of Durango Gold owners active in it (many with 382MBQ's), and they love to share anything about their 5th wheels!
