Access is tight
Passenger/curb side via front compartment
Drivers/roadside via basement compartment on drivers side

Skinny person with long arms a plus

When you say, "broke" we might be able to help out with some more information. Some things can be super simple to fix - for example, I over-ran mine (finger on the switch for a split second after the gear was fully retracted) and sheared off a bolt on the square tube that supplies the side opposite the motor. It's a planned failure point and took 10 minutes to throw in some new bolts.

Yes the bolt sheared off . The motor works but nothing happens when you push the button except the motor turning and you can hear it . It is laying in the ground by one of the landing gear pads . I canít believe there is not a place to get to the motor and gears . I wonder if it is under the bed in the fifth wheel compartment ?

By opening the front storage compartment you should be able to access the system. If need be you may need to access it from the propane compartments or the side. When replacing these bolts use the shear bolts in case this happens again, it will shear off and prevent damage to the system.

Assuming we're talking about the same bolt on the square tube cross-member it should be accessible in the front storage compartment. Don't put a stronger bolt in - it's a planned failure point to prevent doing more severe damage. I carry several sets with me just in case it ever happens again (although I doubt it will since I learned my lesson quickly).

RV repairman went by there, I am 300 miles away . He told me he could not find a way possible to access it with out cutting the panel where the propane tanks are . He said he had never seen anything like this .
