skypilot welcome to irv2.com! I don't have, or know about the Larado 5er, but I can offer some advice. It appears to have a 11,000#GVW, which is within a 3/4T Ford towing capacity. The anticipated maximum pin weight will be close to 2,016#. That be nearing your truck's maximum pin capacity, considering the weight you'll add to your truck when everyone/thing is loaded into it ready to go camping.
An accurate fifth wheel weight calculatoris really helpful when matching your truck to a 5er it can tow safely.

Thank you for the reply and info. I have a 250 with diesel, and 3.73 rear end, short box, 4 dr.
I fell for the laredo 29rl, so i am going to order tomorrow. Looking foward to going west in summer, the mountains. Hope to get to quartzsite in January. Where are you located.

Right now we're in Indiana, but when the water puddles get hard we'll be in the RGV. If you're planning on visiting Quartzite this winter, I'd be reserving a RV park site now (if one is still available). If you're planning on boondocking there, go to the snowbirds board here on irv2.com, use the search feature for your questions first, then post them if you didn't find a satisfactory answer.
