Leveling a Toy Hauler
When leveling, do you only use the hydraulic level system on a 2020 Seismic 4113 or do you level first using standard items and then level off with the hydraulic level system?
Thanks

Standard items?.
If I'm not to far off, hit auto level and let it happen. If I am staying for an extended time and a set of wheels are off the ground I will drive up on planks to help support and reduce trailer wiggle. If your jacks run out of stroke, I will throw a couple thick pads under them to help.
Otherwise, I don't do much before hydraulics.

We have a 2018 Road Warrior 427 and we just push the button and let the 6 point system do it's thing.

I have a side to side level I can see with my mirror. I jockey back and forth for the best level. If I'm way off, I'll level first. Then I push the auto level. Just seems more stable to me when the wheels are on the ground.

Don't have a TH or hydraulic or 6 pt, but the 4 pt electric on my KZ works just fine, with no extra leveling needed. I always put boards under my jacks, especially the rears, as they just don't have a lot of stroke. Usually 2 layers of 2x6x12 under each one and 1 layer of 2x6x12 under the fronts. Tighten down the JT's and I'm durn-near rock solid.

Pads under the jacks and use auto. If it is bad enough that I'm going to have tires off the ground I usually dig a hole on the high side and drop those tires into the holes before letting auto do its job.

One of my biggest complaints about the LCI system is that it always seems to want to level =up=, never down. When I park on the street in front of my house, my curb-side tires are about 2" off the ground (road crown and gutter cause this), but the street tires are also unweighted to some extent. I'd love an option to be able to tell the system to drop 1", or 2", etc., and remain level.

Check out this video. If you want to skip to the point where they level their toy hauler, skip ahead and start watching at about 9:30 into the video. I think this will answer your question.
