Unhappy Lippert Hydraulic Slide Pump

I bought a used RV that had one MAJOR problem. The hydraulic pump had caught fire and nearly caught the entire RV to become a pile of ashes. But someone saved the RV. I now have the job of putting in another pump, all new hoses and attach them to the NEW pump. I have no schematics or piping diagrams. Yes, I bought the RV for a song and I sang that song.

The problem comes from NEVER having seen the original pump, the proper connection of the six hoses. Can anyone give me the basic drawing, or sketch it out and email it to me. Or perhaps you know where I can find this ONLINE. There is too much for this old 69 year old to do to crawl around more than necessary. I'm not afraid of work, I have 45 years experience in Electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics. If you can help me, I will be forever indebted to you. I definitely hope to be a CONTRIBUTOR to other persons with Electrical Problems.

Country40330,

Giving us the name of the manufacturer, the make and the year of RV may help you get better answers.

Also, if you call the manufacturer they may be able to provide the info.

Lippert Hydraulics

Well it would have been nice IF I had Put in there somewhere that it was a 2003 Keystone Challenger. It is 36.5 feet long, and it will make me a wonderful RV if I get the little things fixed. I think the Model is a 29TLB.

The pump is from a FOUR slide Montana about 2006. I have Four ports for opening the slides but I have only two return. First problem, CAN I CAP OFF one of the ports on the opening of Slides? Then I have only TWO ports for dumping the fluid as I retract the slide. Can I SAFELY double one of the two ports.

This pump has knobs on the reverse side of a block from the ports. This is what I was told was the side that pushes out the slide. What are these knobs for?
