Living room slide-out isn't level, slopes downward

My living room slide-out isn't level, it slopes downward. Is there a way I can fix this? Thank you

You don't mention what coach you have or year, but you need to know what you are doing to work on a slide.

Suggest you take it to a reputable RV repair shop that has the equipment and experience to fix it correctly.

Second the suggestion of getting it to a reputable dealer for fixing. I’d hate for you to lose the slide.

There are several different makes of Slide out. I will speak of only two. First Power gear.

Power gear slideouts have one or usually two Rack and pinion devices under the slidem you will see a long rail with gear teath

On these the ONLY support for the slide is the end of the gear rail and the main floor as it extends it will tilt usually downward (to the outside) then once you have it all the way out you will see the inside edge drop down as the bottom is fully extended.

The top having hit the stop causes this

Accu-slide.. Normally this is not used for the bigger slides but on an Accu-Slide you will see 4 cables when the slide is extended two in fron and two in back, you do not see the other 5 cables

These are adjustable by removing normally the facia board over the slide (But it may be under the slide) where you will find the "Works" and 8 bolts with the wrong kind of nuts. 7/16" wrency adjusts.

I suggest adding a NYLOCK nut to the end of the long threaded bolt.. That way the nuts wont' vibrate off. Just run the NYLOCK down till the bolt protrudes past the nut (TOo much work to use it as the adjustment nut) and use the OEM as the adjuster
