Locating circuit breaker panel and amp question

New 5th wheel brought home yesterday. Grand Design 2020 150 series 290bh. Can someone help me to locate the fuse and or circuit breaker pane?. If it has 50 amp service can you hook up to 30 or 20 amp service as well?

Yes you can use 30 amp service, but you will need a adapter from 50 to 30 amps commonly called a "dogleg". Using 30 amp service will limit you to what you operate at the same time compared to a 50 amp service. For example you may only be able to use 1 AC unit instead of 2 when on 50 amps. On 30 amps you will NOT be able to operate an AC, microwave, water heater or hairdryer all at once, it won't happen.
You will need to learn how to manage your electrical usage and to realize what you can use at one time.

Can tell you that on my Solitude the breaker panel is behind a door in the hallway near the stairs to the bedroom.


Gotta ask...did the dealer tech/s not show you where it was during your PDI?

Thanks all for the help! No they did no show us during the PDI we where at the dealer all day long working through items. I feel like I really let myself down missing the the big ask on this, but, is what it is. To close the loop we did find it after moving the couch away from the wall. I must say I couldn't have found a better place to hide it myself.

The 50 to 30 amp adapter is called a Dogbone. It will make sense when you see the shape.

My GD Solitude's fuse panel is in the kitchen...tallest cabinet...bottom right cabinet door.

Fuse and circuit breaker panel will be on the floor under something. BED, fridge, etc.

That's pretty hidden. Mine's not hidden at all, except for a set of cabinet doors at the bottom of the entertainment center.
