Hi all...new to site and looking for some help. I have a 2007 Pilgrim 5th wheel and have lost the 12vdc to the landing gear motor. The motor does work hooked straight to an independant battery. The switch has power and does switch polarity. Checked both 30 amp fuse in panel and 30 amp fuse on the positive wire at the motor and both metered okay. Is there a resettable manual breaker possibly somwhere on these systems?

Take a look for an inline fuse or a bad ground.

Turns out the switch is bad. Jacks originally started binding from over-travel and jacking stopped both up and down. Inline fuse is good and all grounds okay. As I mentioned, the motor works straight to the battery without the switch. Have ordered a new switch.
I originally changed out the momentary switch to a maintained one as I have an Anderson ball hitch which had consumed time to hold it up or down. The reason for the Andersen was that I have a turnover ball from pulling a 34" full living quarters gooseneck horse trailer. It appears the contacts in the maintained one must have failed on the binding.
Thanks everyone. Switch arrived, installed and all is well. I was sure there was an auto or manual reset breaker tripped but my RV luckily doesn't have one hidden somewhere. I know some manufacturers do put them in.
