Macerator

Does anybody have any ideas about aftermarket macerators? I need something to dump at my house, used a macerator on my class A… I’m in a 5er now & looking into these as an addition…. Thanks for your help

Look on uTube and see how to make a garbage disposal into a macerator. If you have the room, this is the way to go

I have a Flojet portable that twists onto the trailer's outlet. My trailer had a low lying discharge that was sometimes lower than the sewer input and would not drain completely. It worked good at home with a fifty foot run through a 5/8" ID garden hose and about a foot of rise to my clean-out plug, albeit slow. I upgraded to a fifth wheel with enough whoosh to get the job done plus the black tank rinse. I wouldn't use the one I have over the standard hose if that was an option. It is nice to have as a backup though.

Have a friend that uses one. It takes a lot of water and if you have low pressure, it is slow.

Even using a Flojet for 8 yers works great ! I just use a set of jumper cables from the batteries to the flojet clamps . It has a back flow with hose attachment . Fifty foot hose works great !

Bought a Portable Flojet back in 2008
Used it at Sister place......septic tank cleanout was 75' away with a 2' incline

Worked great.
Used it at many locations since
Once a year I disassemble pump head and clean up the cutter blades and check the impeller

Only extra water used is to rinse pump/discharge hose after pumping out waste tanks
