I have a 98 Seahawk 30' 5'ver with a MagneTek 6300 series Converter/Charger. The charger portion of the unit is not maintaing trailer battery...in fact it is not charging at all.

Everything else works fine from the converter side.... even when not connected to 120v, all my 12v items work fine from the battery(after I've gotten it back up with an external portable battery charger)...and when connected to 120v with battery drained, 12v appliances (pump, lights, ect..) work fine.

I've looked all around...all connections are tight. Can't seem to locate any type of fuse (other than the ones on the panel that feed 12v appliances). Any ideas before I put out +$200 on a new Intellipower

I do not know where the charger is in relation to the battery but ther should be a thirty amp auto breaker on the hot (red)line from the charger. the breaker looks like a 1x1/2"oblong with two post brass to charger and steel to battery Test at the brass for voltage .or steel to ground for voltage .Is fan on unit operating .Check at out put line shown on inside cover for hot line 12v .If battery is very low charger will not bring it up for a few days at best at only amps at most ,charge the battery then test the current.Hope this helps. Skipper entry level over fifty years. P.S the power section is replaceable
