Thanks for the replies. I think you convinced me that we would have to go with a dually. We really like that Pinnacle, except for the outside storage. I’m not sure the aprox 73 cu ft will be enough since we will be selling our house. I know I can store some stuff in the back of the truck, but not that much. Our back up plan is the Thor Aria DP, but that would be around $40-50,000 more then the 5ver and truck combined.
Do the 18 wheelers push the 5ver around like it does my Thor ACE when being passed?

My Solitude is close in length and weight to what you are considering. Behind a RAM 3500 DRW it is rock solid.

I don't tow really have or with a DRW, but I get zero push/pull when overtaking semi's on the freeway with my 5th wheel. Because of the 5th hitch to pin location you don't get that whip sensation as with a travel trailer where the coupler is 4' or so behind the axle.
Most 5ers are rock solid even in windy conditions.

My SRW 1ton chevy 41ft 5er has no issues in the wind or with 18 wheelers.
As far as the Jayco we could not be happier
