Absolutely correct. Had my rig professionally weighed today through the Smartweigh program through Escapees in Bushnell. These guys were very professional and thorough going through my rig in detail and spending over an hour with me crunching the numbers.

Thankfully I'm good and within ALL SPECS, HOWEVER, I have to limit my new upcoming Fiver to a max GVWR of 15K to stay within specs and get the best performance out of TV and Fiver.

One thing I am highly convinced of...the number of RVers who are dangerously overloaded is absolutely mind boggling. Many many RVers don't take the weight considerations as seriously as they should. I for one am thankful and appreciative for the guidance given me today.

I’ve pulled heavy trailers with both SRW trucks (Ford F-350) and DRW Fords. Found that the DRW are a much more stable platform...currently have a DRV MSA 38 that I was pulling with a 2011 F-350 DRW and 3.73 rear long bed ..Did ok but was in the truck lane on the hills...traded and now have a F-450 with a 4.30 rear..great on steep gradesand has larger brakes and better engine brake..get about 10mpg pulling. (All were diesels)
