Modify Small Toilet Room or Toilet Riser?

The toilet room in our Cardinal 29RKLE is somewhat small making it kinda difficult to move as needed with door closed. Ha! Anyway, attempting to get more room we're considering either 1.) modifying the commode base to have it sit at an angle, 2.) look into buying a new commode that is smaller, or 3.) using a "toilet riser" that will lift the commode 2 1/2 inches thus not having to sit as low. Anybody else having this problem and what have you done to make it better.
Thanks in advance,

I installed a 'throne' riser for a friend of the family (who has bad knees) in their coach.

They bought the unit at Camping World and I installed it in the park in Florida they were at. Very simple & straightforward job, I doubt took 30 min. to do it.
