OK - the Battery disconnect switch shows "Off" and "On" positions.

Does "on" mean the switch is engaged OR does it mean the disconnect switch is switched in and the battery is disconnected?

Enquiring minds want to know.....tnx for your reply - Jim R.

'On' means that 12V power is flowing and 'Off' then means it isn't --- and this just reminded me that the switch on our 2014 Montana High Country needs to be checked in the spring as it doesn't seem to do a thing. It is a pretty low end/capacity battery disconnect switch and if yours has the same one, you too might want to give it a check just to be sure it works as expected.

To confirm have a light on inside the RV then unplug shore power. Is the light on or off? That will confirm your question.

We been arguing with Keystone about this confusion for years. When the switch is in the OFF position, it is stating that the batteries are energizing the coach hence "battery disconnect is off allowing current to flow to the coach."
When the disconnect switch is in the ON position it is stating that the batteries are NOT energizing the coach hence "battery disconnect is ON and not allowing current to flow to the coach.
What I did with mine is cross out the name "disconnect" on the label and now it says ON and OFF as it should be....
Hope this helps and makes some since of Keystone's dyslexia ????
