Montana High Country 5th Wheel

Hello, This is my first time posting.
I own a 2022 295RL Montana High Country 5th Wheel. I purchased it new.
My wife and I use it to travel and we are not full time campers.
I have had some issues with the trailer but nothing that I have fixed myself.
I do have a couple of questions.
Why are there no Owners Forums for Keystone? Just curious.
And, have anyone had any slide problems with a 2022 295RL Montana High Country 5th Wheel?
The kitchen slide tilts significantly while opening and closing. It closes completely but looks strange while closing. The dining/seating slide does tilt a little while opening and closing but not as much as the kitchen slide. The bedroom slide does not tilt at all.
When all the slides are opened there is no tilt or slanting down when viewed from the outside.
I contacted Keystone about this but have not received any responses.
I would appreciate any comments from others about this issue.
Thanks

First off, Welcome to iRV2!

It's impossible to have a separate owner's forum for every brand of RV in a general forum like this. There is a brand specific forum for Keystone that is a sister site of iRV2. https://www.keystoneforums.com/forums/
There you can use your same email and password as iRV2 to log in and fill out a profile. You don't register a new account, just log in.

It's normal for some slides to tilt when moving in or out. The only thing that is important is that they close completely or open completely.

Hi, So I own a 2016 Keystone Cougar 5th wheel which is basically the same body structure and slides. My slides do the same thing which has always driven me crazy. The slides are made by Lippert; Here is a Youtube video link put out by Lippert on the normal operation and adjustments on your slides-

The reason the two big slides tilt is because they are the "through frame" type slides and hang below the floor where as the bedroom slide is mounted on top of the bedroom floor which makes it more stable. According to the video, the tilting is normal.

I hope that helps and answers your questions! Watch the video, I did find it informative.

Good Luck and Safe Travels!

Keystone forum posted above.

For everything Montana and Montana High Country.

Sounds like your slides are working fine.
There are different types of slide mechanisms that perform differently when operating. Your bedroom slide is most likely a Schwintec or cable, no tilt.
The dining slide is probably a flush floor hydraulic through frame, tilts up over a wear bar, and kitchen might be a above floor hydraulic through frame, tilts down as it travels over the wear bar.

The Montana Owners Club (MOC) www.montanaowners.com *IS* the brand specific place for any and all Montana RVs. It is run by Montana owners, not Keystone. There are over 30K members there and the information base is phenomenal. Your current RV Life (i.e. IRV2) logon works there as well as the Keystone forum.

MandK (above) described your slides and why they operate slightly differently but effectively.
