MORyde Step Above Steps
We have a 2016 Cougar 327RES and are planning to upgrade our entry steps with the new MORyde "Step Above" steps. Does anyone have any experience with these steps and would you recommend the 3 OR 4 step model?

I've looked into those, and the number of steps you get are all based on your rigs measurements. The look very stable. Would like to get them for mine.

I have Lippert's version, called the Solid Step. I love them; rock solid stable. I have heard people that have very tight parking where they store, not having enough room to swing them open. However, I have never had an issue with regard to enough space to swing them open. The bottom legs can be individually adjusted for ground that is not level.
The one issue I have is that I use carpet stair covers. The steps fold up into the door of the camper. When the carpet gets wet, it drips inside. Nothing a towel at the base can't take care of; but an annoyance worth noting.
Overall; I love them. I am assuming the MORyde product is similar.

I've got the MorRyde steps that fold up into the door opening. 4 steps, perfect. Very stable. I've got a 2" lift and it's been working great.

I have them and love them. Go to the website and compare your measurements and it will show you which one to buy

Our 2017 Columbus came with them and they are fantastic! Very solid and with the adjustable feet, you can accommodate any type of ground. I do put one of our plastic leveling blocks under each of the legs which contact the ground just to prevent them from sinking into soft ground and also keeps the dirt off them. As pointed out, since they do fold up into the door frame, you need to brush the steps to minimize the grass/dirt from coming into your camper.

Just as an aside, I noticed that New Horizons is mounting these new-type steps on the exterior. These appear to be the Lippert SolidStep, but the feet are different from what I've seen available in the aftermarket. I plan to buy these steps and the installation manual I read shows them to fold up into the interior.
*this particular NH has the entry door on a slide out. Not sure if that has something to do with the exterior mounting.

We have these also. Very satisfied with them. Again, rig height determines how many steps are needed.

I have them on my Cedar Creek and the need a lot of room to open. Can't open in my storage area. Also won't be usable on a steep sloped area. We have a ditch upfront of our house. Can't parks close to the ditch, steps won't go down far enough.
I like them, but there are considerations.

That it the same steps Excel used when they came out with the entrance in the slide out instead of the usual side entrance.

Ours came with them and we love them. They do take 45" of clearance to put down but that's a small price to pay for the stability they give.
