My tank heater is 120v. Perhaps its a bay light switch and the lamp is burnt out? Does it appear to be factory installed? What bay is it in, could be for a macerator pump?

Tank heaters are 120v. I wonder if it is light switch for outside light or awning lights. Do all of your outside have switches inside? I have a switch on the outside under the nose, took a while finally figured it was for the nose lights.

Pumps are known to have 2 or more switches.

I have an '08 Escalade 41CKS, but I am not sure where the switch in the basement is that you are referring to.
Door side
In the basement, I have two switches: one is for the light and one is for the speakers.
Off-door side
In the basement, I have one switch for the basement light on that side.
In the LP compartment, I have the obvious switches for the landing gear.
In the water hook-up compartment is a switch for the light in there.
