New 5th Wheel

Just picked this up today. 2018 Cedar Creek 36CK2. This is our 1st 5'er. We just moved up from a 30ft bumper pull. This thing sure is big, but boy is it nice inside. I need to get it on a scale but empty weight is around 13,000lbs. Our F350 pulled this thing very well. Trailer caused about 1inch of squat, thats it.

Phenomenal floor plan in that unit! It was third on my short list only because the length was over out allotted rule, with the Cedar Creek 34RL2 2nd on our short list.

That thing you go there is gorgeous with TONS of room inside. Likely one of the best 5th wheel floorplans and builds I've seen in all of my research. Congrats!

Keep and eye on your hydraulic tank and fittings. For some insane reason CK installs the hydraulic fluid tank over the inverter.
Last year we ran into some folks up at GNP that had just started full timing in a new CK. They had to get the inverter replaced because the a hydraulic fitting that is over the inverter leaked fluid all over in.
Anyway sweet 5er.

outlined in his lemon series

a tech overfilled it

It's outlined I think in the first video of this series..

Forest river ended up picking his RV up and towing it back to the factory.

Thanks. Yes, it was one of the best floorplans we found. It's just the two of us, so it's perfect. Wife loved the larger bathroom with double sink and the huge pantry that separates the kitchen area from the entertainment wall.

LOVE the bathroom in that floorplan and the 34RL2.. they are the same bathroom, but the layout is the most perfect ever.

May be too heavy?

I guess i'm dumb, but we have same truck which is what caught my eye on your post. Judging by your posted in-profile gvwr, and seeing the gvwr is 16500 on trailer, aren't you pulling too much? I'm confused! Nice camper tho

Nope, should be ok. Truck is an F350 with a 15,900lb max trailer capacity. So, as long as I don't load the trailer to max, I will be ok - granted near capacity. I can't see that we'll need to carry anywhere near the 3900lbs of cargo that the trailer can carry.
