New to 5th wheel, not to camping

So I'm upgrading from an older class c toy hauler to a large 5th wheel toy hauler. What are some "must haves" for the 5th wheel that I won't have, or wouldn't have thought of with my class c?

Fifth wheel trailers are equipped similarly to motorhomes, except for a generator, second house battery, hard-wired power cord, power steps, power window shades and side/ rear camera based on my experience. Fifth wheel trailers generally come with an electric fireplace for space heating.

My 2020 Montana fifth wheel trailer came factory equipped with solar, inverter, hydraulic leveling, 2 AC's (one of which is a pump) and hitch receiver, which are the same features factory equipped on my motorhome. You can add a generator, additional house battery, washer / dryer (depending on model), side/rear camera (many fifth wheel trailers come factory-prepped), satellite tv antenna, tire pressure monitoring system, etc.

Guess I should have been a bit more specific. I'm far from new to camping, or trailer types, im more talking about gadgets or gizmos. Also "essentials" that are more geared towards 5th wheel trailers.

For backwards example, I waited about a year to buy a windshield cover for my class c, should have done it sooner.

I also carry a spare serpentine belt for my funmover, won't need that.

What are some "how did I live with out that" items everyone has come across for 5th wheels?

Over 18 years and 3 fifth wheel trailers the only item I can think of is a tow vehicle with plenty of stability, load capacity, uphill climbing torque and lots of downhill braking..............for me it was crew cab, long bed, dually with a diesel engine.

You are probably experienced enough & already well equipped for the transfer. Pencil & notepad is all that is needed to write down stuff as you find that you need.

I like putting up a small dry erase board by the door, when something comes to mind, or runs out, write it down, because 10 minutes later I absolutely will not remember

How large of a 5th wheel toy hauler are you talking? We have a tri-axle, 21,000lbs, 44'10".

We had the MorRyde Independent Suspension installed with disc brake conversions added to it. We also have the RF Mogul satellite dish installed. This September we are having a full rig solar system installed with 1600 watts of panels and 720-amp hours of batteries.

So what would you consider "must haves". To me the first two are a must have for a large 5th wheel toy hauler.

Agree with tow vehicle and Lube plate.

Personally, toyhauler means dually for us. It wouldn't matter if a tri axle or dual. They are pin heavy either way.

I'm purchasing a lightly used 2019 Keystone fusion 373. I do like the idea of upgraded suspension and brakes, I will definitely look into those.

Eventually I may look into a satellite, but still just a working class guy, so won't be on the top of my list

Disc brakes are a great addition.
