New unit check list

Anyone have a check list when picking up a new 5th wheel from the dealer. I know we will be overwhelmed by the new 5ver and forget everything and kick ourselves later.

Check it all! Check it again! Open the slide/s. Again! If you cannot find anything, go camping as soon as you can! Check it again! Do not rely solely on the fact the Mfg offers a warranty, they may not be there when you find that first problem. Hopefully the dealer will and they offer a good reliable service.
Did I mention that you should check everything!

Any reputable dealer will include a PDI walk-through in a purchase. Insist it be complete, including operating everything in and on the RV until both of you are familiar with the operation of everything electrical and mechanical. Ours took over 2 hours, service dept. was not happy but we insisted, and had it included in the sales contract.
After purchasing a new RV, camp a few nights near or at the dealers. This way if/when you have questions or something doesn't work properly, returning to the dealers is quick and easy.

If you find any issues with your new rig during the pre delivery walk through, do not accept delivery of the unit. Make this clear to the dealership when you are doing the negotiations... If there are issues and they want you to accept the rig, and "we will fix it later"... good luck!
