Newbie to RVing need some help on Storing.

When storing your RV for 2 to 4 weeks do you open your Slides or keep them closed?

We keep them closed unless there is a good reason to have them open. Your slideouts have rubber seals, etc. that just like anything else, benefit from not just sitting there baking in UV/the sun. Having the slideouts closed leaves your slideout seals and slideout roof more protected.

If I'm working inside our camper, etc. and need the slideouts extended it certainly is fine, but when not in use, we leave ours closed. We also will leave the roof vents open a little under the max air covers to allow for heat to escape and some air flow through the camper.

On a side note, we also put the cover onour fifth wheel when sitting for extended periods (4 weeks or more) just to keep it clean and to provide protection from the sun (reduce fading of decals, etc.)
