No Over air Channels on bedroom TV

Living room tv connection to sat. Bedroom connected to roof antenna. Boost switch pushed in inliving room. Scan with tv in bedroom. No channel’s found

I know WiFi ranger tv antenna not very strong. But thought I would find a.few channels Others in park with the old style antenna get about 12 channels. Some not good but they do pick up. It is possible antenna just cannot lock on to any channels posting to see if anyone had some suggestions. Thanks

Go to https://www.antennaweb.org/ and enter the zip code for your location to find where your OTA antenna needs to point for the best reception.

You need to make sure the coax is in good shape and continuous all the way back to the bedroom TV.

You need to make sure (depending on the antenna booster) that it is set to pass OTA signals and not cable signals.

Switch the Living room tv to over the air antenna. Does it get channels? If yes then problem with connection to bedroom TV or problem with TV itself. Most likely loose or incomplete connection.

If none on living room TV then most likely bad antenna or loose or incomplete connections from antenna to dist. box. Could also be bad dist. box at this point.

Best odds but not certain, somebody did not finish connecting all the wires during assembly or some mod after the fact.

tv issues

I went through this with my new rv, dealer couldn't find anything wrong - it worked while in the shop, tried everything under the sun, purchased a new tv and no more problems.
I'm using the original TV as a computer monitor in the house and it works fine

The omnidirectional antennas are nowhere nearly as good as the older batwing antennas with the UHF extension. Sounds like you are in a dead zone for your antenna.

As suggested, see it the other TV will get a signal.

If you are hooking up to a tv outlet that came from manufactuer. Take cover off and make sure tv outlet is connected. For some reason many are not hooked up.
