Checked in freezer and found soft items. Thermometer above safe zone. Refrierator a little warmer than safe. Sorry I just cannot recall temps. Norcold setting usually kept at 5/6 year long. Moved to 7 setting then to 8 before temps came back down into safe. I would think with the cooler temps outside the settings would go the outher way and the unit would not be working as hard. Any suggestions or advice welcome. I have a rear vent fan and have the parts for building a circulation fan. I have also checked recall dates & ##,s.This is a 2003 unit. Keep the dust on your boot.

Actually it may go the other direction. I have a frig in my garage and when it gets cold outside the frig warms up. I'm guessing that your Norcold does the same thing.

pocoloco, on the fins in back of your refer compartment there is a temp senser that slides, you may have moved up or down placing items in fridge. Get a refer temp gage and adjust senser it will slide, until you get temp you want. Your service manuals should help you. "007"

Our Dometic has a "low ambient temp" switch that must be manually turned on when outside temps are low. Yours may have the same thing. The switch on ours is right next to the "high humidity" switch that needs to be turned on when high humidity causes condensation around the freezer frame.

Thank's for the advice. I checked temp readings and now with outside temp at 70+ daytime I went back to 7 on front setting. Freezer is at 0/ Fridge is at 30. The other night when outside temps 50- and my fridge temps were out of the safe zone this would make no logical sense. I am in and out every other day and bought unit new and have never noticed this. Vette Racer I guess you have it sigh-ferd correct. Half Dimes my Norcold that I could see and read has no set switches other than the front On/Off,Mode-Gas/12v and temp 1-9. 007 best I coud tell the sensor has never moved it is clamped very good. Keep the dust on ya boot. BKF
