Semi-truck trailers have a revolution counter on one axle.

I've never heard of counters on RVs but no reason they couldn't do it.

No, but new Fords know when you connect to a specific trailer and keeps track of the miles it is towed. You can name multiple trailers in it's programming.

I use "Miles Trac Online" to track the miles towed of my 5th wheel. I enter the start when I hitch and end when I uncouple. Works great.

I created my own log in MS Excel, but will look at the Miles Trac Online, maybe easier to use and I can probably enter the information from my phone at each stop. Guess I should check my driver information center on the TV as well. I knew you could name the trailer hooked to the TV but didn't know it also tracked the towed mileage for that trailer.

Your Ford does for sure. It gives an accumulative total. I can't speak for the others.

My Rand McNally GPS also will keep track of my towing mileage of the 5er. It is manually enter under the fuel mileage reports. I enter the mileage when we start and finish towing each time and add this up on a excel spread sheet on the PC.

Last year we put on 4,920 miles on the trailer.
