So we have been looking to upgrade from our 28’ TT for some now. We were either going with a mid bunk Jayco of front living room.
We ended up finding a used front livingroom model
2016 Evergreen bay hill 379FL.
I do see the company went under in mid 2016. I would love to hear from anyone with this model.
We’ve committed to the deal and should be picking it up in a week or two. Not ideal times for buying but I feel we got a great deal.
This will be our first 5Th wheel. We are So excited that we found exactly what we wanted in a floor plan without breaking the bank. IMO, it is in great shape for a used 2016.
Any advise on what could possibly need to be inspected would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats on the new rig. Now I'll admit I know nothing about that rig and the quality but if having an 'orphan' rig is your biggest concern you really have no problem. If the rig is built decent and you do the normal PM to maintain it you show be in good shape. We have been full timing in a 2008 Hitch Hiker for the last 12 years and never even think about the company being out of business. Most of the systems were sourced from someone else anyway (appliances, axles, hydraulics, etc). Take care of it and enjoy it.
The one thing I can think of off the top of my head is check the age on the tires. I replace mine every 4 1/2 to 5 years. They will not look worn but they are aging out and RVers almost always age out tires.

I did ask about the tires, they are original.
We plan on leaving it on property we have north of us. We will replace the tires if we ever decide to pull it around.
Another concern is that we will be leaving it in the elements all the time. We will need to fight off mice for sure.
