Outside wall of Slide out pulled away from side walls.
I recently purchased a 94' Fleetwood Westport 34 5Y. It is in pretty good shape for the year, everything seems to work well, minus the tank level gauges, but Im ok with that.
The main problem I can see with the unit, is the outside wall of the bedroom slide out has pulled away from the side walls of the slide out bu about 1/2" on one of the bottom corners, this crack narrows towards the top and other side of the slide out. I cant see any kind of attachment method, Im assuming that outside wall was bolted to the slide out structure before the fibreglass skin was put on? Can I use construction screws to try to snug this back in then apply Eterna Bond over the heads?
The fibreglass on the slide out isnt delaminating, the inside walls are in good shape, and the slide out operates perfectly, so would rather wait to pull the whole slide out apart until the fall.

That could be an easy fix or a hard one. No way to know without getting into it. Pictures?

Currently at work, get home around 7pm, will get pictures then. Its hard to see exactly what is moving/letting go though because of how narrow the gap is, all I can really see for sure is the piece of galvanized steel or aluminum angle iron that the slide out end wall is attached to, and it seems to still have a good bond to the wall.
This is my first Trailer with this type of slide out, Im used to the kind where the rails and mechanism are easily accessible/visible from underneath the slide out. Im assuming the slide mechanism is under the bed or in the 5ver basement?

Slide mechanism is under the bed. It pushes or pulls on the exterior wall and the side walls go along for the ride. But since the side walls contain the inner seals, if the slide out is out of adjustment and pushes out too far, it will pull the side walls away from the exterior wall.

Ok I'm thinking that's exactly what happened, I tried to get some pics, but hard to see, I also can't get them to upload on my phone.
That would make sense because the biggest gap actually runs along the bottom edge where the floor meets the end wall of the slide out, but there is no give in the end wall, I can push on it with all my weight and it doesn't even budge.
Once this is fixed, I think adjustment of both slide its is in order.

When you say 'end wall' is that the exterior wall or the two sides of the slideout. The exterior wall is fixed in place by the slide mechanism, it should only move via the slide switch

Sorry yes, by "end wall" I mean outside wall, I was basically pushing to make sure there was no play between the outside wall and the mechanism, and there doesnt appear to be. Looks like the problem is the side walls detaching.
Finally got the pictures to work, hopefully theyre ok

Remove the white aluminum flange around the perimeter of the slideout exterior wall, at least both sides and the bottom. That should reveal the gap and screws, etc used to secure the side walls to the exterior wall. Then you can make repairs and then reinstall the flange.

Yes to your original question. You can use screws through the fiberglass wall to secure it. I would use stainless instead of construction style and a marine sealer like 3m 4200 or 5200 fast cure.

Additionally, I would make sure to check the slide stops(if any) to be sure it's not exerting force when closed, or trying to overrun the retract position.
