Pilgrim Intl Legends bedroom slide adjustment

The two living area slides function correctly, that is, when extended the clicking sound signals stop and the return will begin immediately when switch is pressed. However, if the bedroom slide is extended until the click begins, initiating the 'in' button only brings more clicking. I must raise the mattress, access the screw mechanism and put a 5/8 socket on the screw gear and manually make a couple half turns to get it started, and then it will return normally. I need guidance in adjusting the extention so it will stop just a bit quicker. An internet search has not gotten what I need since I cannot identify the slide manufacturer. Assistance, please.

Lippert Components Inc. has some information that you might find useful.
Link 1 Link 2
Your mechanism may not be a Lippert, but this may have enough information to identify your brand or show enough so you may adjust/correct your problem From your description that mechanism may be jamming in the extend position, and the potentiometer readjusted.
